Our mission

End tremor's power over everyday life, one measurable moment at a time.

Essential Tremor is the world's most common tremor condition — yet clinic visits and questionnaires miss how it really behaves day to day. We're changing that with real-world measurement, practical guidance, and research fueled by the community itself.

Hi, I'm Nisso — and tremor is part of my story too.

About three years ago I started noticing my hands shaking during simple things — typing, using my phone, pouring a glass of wine. Like many people, I was afraid it might be Parkinson's. After a quick assessment, Dr. Jai Grewal diagnosed me with Essential Tremor. Today Dr. Jai is my co-founder, alongside Dr. Gennady Gekht, our Chief Medical Officer.

Essential Tremor is the most common tremor condition in the world, yet it gets nowhere near the attention it deserves. Clinic visits and questionnaires miss how tremor behaves in real life — the daily swings, the triggers, the moments that actually matter.

We're building TremorZen to help people manage their day — and to fuel better research, better answers, and better treatments.

If tremor is part of your story, you're in the right place. I'd love to welcome you to join the project.

Yours truly,
Nisso Larden

Our community

You're not alone in this.

Thousands of people living with Essential Tremor share what actually helps — in the group, on the podcast, and in our research updates.
For 12 years I explained my tremor from memory, twice a year. Now my neurologist sees my real days — and this community is the first place I never had to explain myself at all.

Frequently asked questions

What is Ending Tremor Project?

Ending Tremor Project is building TremorZen, an AI companion for people living with tremor. We combine smartphone check ins with tremor measurements to track change over time, reveal patterns like stress sleep or caffeine, and turn insights into practical daily steps built with neurologists and AI experts for you.

What is TremorZen?

TremorZen is the AI companion from Ending Tremor Project that helps you track essential tremor in real life. It guides quick check ins and simple smartphone based tests to measure tremor, then turns your data into clear trends, trigger insights like stress sleep or caffeine, and practical next steps you can use day to day.

Do I need a subscription to access TremorZen?

No. TremorZen includes a free experience so you can get started with basic check ins, tremor tracking, and simple progress views. A premium subscription unlocks deeper insights like trigger analysis, longer history and trends, personalized recommendations, and advanced reports you can share with your care team.

Is my data private and secure?

Yes. We treat your health data like it is ours, locked down and handled carefully. We use encryption and access controls to protect your information, and you stay in control of what you share, including whether anything is shared with a clinician or the community. We do not sell your personal health data.

Is TremorZen suitable for all ages?

Right now, TremorZen is being built for adults.

If you are under 18, we would only support use with a parent or legal guardian, and only if the final release includes teen friendly onboarding and consent controls.

If you tell me what age cutoff you want on the site, like 13+ or 18+, I will tighten this answer to match your policy exactly.
